we took another scooter trip to ye-liu on saturday. there were ten of us on six scooters. above you can a shot of our little gang on the way there.
i have to say, i ADORE driving my scooter. since i moved to taipei, i just don't get to drive it enough - usually only once or twice a week. and i really do miss it. my friend once said that being able to drive a scooter is one of the reasons she stayed in taiwan so long. i definitely agree! seriously, folks, it's major fun. and it's therapeutic. i hope they catch on in north carolina one day! though i have seen some during visits the last couple of years, it's unlikely that they'll become popular anytime soon since nc is the land of pickup trucks and suvs. boo :(
anyway, it sure is good to take a scooter trip into the mountains and down to the beach, like we did this weekend. i just love ye-liu!
