this collage is from a really cool new restaurant in kaohsiung called 新台灣の原味, which means "new taiwan's original flavor." it's kind of like a taiwanese version of cracker barrel, displaying lots of old school taiwan stuff. it was really interesting - and cool! and the food was delicious too. if any of my family or friends from america were EVER to come visit me (hint, hint), i would probably take them there. ;)
anyway, hopefully there'll be more photos on here soon! after next week, there'll be pictures of THAILAND!! looking forward to lots of sunshine, refreshment and good thai food....and to escaping the mold that has been trying to take over my room. you know, because it's so humid, food goes bad fast here. which is fine, because i'm used to it. but as i learned this month, REGULAR STUFF, like books, clothing, purses and passports can also go bad too. :( but i had my room repainted this week and the dehumidifier's been working overtime, and my beloved has helped me so much with taking care of everything, i think the battle has almost been won! yippee!
