it's been a while since i've blogged!
one of the most exciting things during the last few weeks has been getting ready for our taiwan wedding photos. for those of your who don't know, taiwan does wedding photos RIGHT. i mean, they are amazing. the whole set up is so different from the states -- here, you borrow amazing clothes from the shop you choose and you do an elaborate photo shoot several months before the wedding. typically, it's 2 white wedding gowns, and 3 other colored gowns. and you have a stylist and everything for the photo shoot. then, you rent a different wedding gown for the actual wedding day, along with 2 other dresses that you change into at the reception. in my opinion, it's so much better than buying the dress -- and a lot more affordable. it makes so much sense! and it's superfun.
we are taking our photos next week (weather permitting!) so last week we went out and picked out our clothes for the shoot. i tried on SOOOO many dresses. it was exhausting but really fun. many thanks to my maid of honor who went with me and was a tremendous help.
