mingling

i just read the word "mingling" [on the back of a cereal box, oddly enough] and my mind automatically read it as the word 命令 (ming4 ling4), which means "command." i cracked myself up when i realized i had read it as chinese.

actually, now that i think about it, it's really hard for me to even look at the word "mingling" and believe that it's even an english word. it just looks so chinese to me now. how odd.
